Preperation for the gig at the White Room in Hull are going ahead. Songs are being finished off and are being prepared together with the lyrics and music. Plus, alot of new material is being produced at this time but the schedual still goes ahead to the gig on the 10th of march, so we look forward to seeing you all there.

 

The set-list for the minute is set to 9 - 10 songs. We will also be including some of the new material that we are writing at the minute so we all hope that you like it and seen as though this is the first time were playing a "real" gig, we hope you like our old material too.

There hasnt being an update on the Tempest site latley, this is due to other things going on, dyl is currently making the site brand new on Dreamweaver while going through relationship problems and obviosly work at school is getting in the way but the band is still prooducing there songs........ lucky for us!

 

Lot of songs are being put together by the band at the min, all different sounds are being fiddled with and were trying to make something exiting with our music and experementing with it all, and were getting there.

 

Still we hope to get updates of our Media on the site but school work is really getting in the way or recording at the min so were struggerling to even practise, but, were getting there like i said.

At the school presentation everning over-all there were 4 awards won by the band, the awards were:

 

Dyl:

Muisc award of outstanding achievement

Usher:

Grade 4 Guildhall Drum Examination

Music Award of outstanding effort and motivation

 

Following up to these achievements Tempest hope to follow up their music awards and start to get some new material together along with more awards. Also next year Tempest will be peforming at the School Award Night, they look forward to playing.

 

 

 

on Wedensday the Tempest had thir first band practise, it went exerlent, after 30 mins of trying to get the volume under control and sound check the band got to work on their recent material aswell as new riffs and verses that were just waiting to be used.

 

After the 3 hour session the band ended up finishing 2 songs and got started on a 3rd song which will be worked on again next week. Tempest are very happy with the material they have wrote and hope to have demos of songs writen on the Tempest website soon, (we will update when they is.)

Dylans custom guitar is going great,         Usher celebrated his 16th birthday last

all the equipment for the guitar has           monday with family and friends. Steve

At the moment the Tempest are doing work experience

well 2 of the trio Joe finished last week after working for a week at

Waterstone's bookshop in Hull he said he enjoyed it and it was a good experience.

 

In the mean time Dyl and Usher are still doing there work experience,

Dyl is working at Gough and Davy music store in Hull thats where he is making his new custom guitar and usher is working at Aarhus United oils which is also in Hull.

 

Both Dyl and Usher are very much enjoying there work placements but they sooned to be back in school again starting from next week.

Then it's back to getting 

Tempest on the go once again.
